WADDLING BACK TO WALMART: Pudgy Penguins Announce A New Partnership With Walmart Collectibles!

Pudgy Penguins will be waddling back to Walmart soon after the brand announced an all new partnership with the retail giant!

On Tuesday, Pudgy Penguins took to LinkedIn and announced some big business with Walmart that will bring Pengu back to store shelves soon.

“We’re proud to announce a new partnership with Walmart collectibles,”

Pudgy Penguins announced. “Bringing Pengu to even more people around the world. Our mission is to make Pudgy Penguins part of everyday culture by showing up where hundreds of millions of consumers already shop. More information coming soon.”

Tonight, we do not know exactly what this partnership will entail or when we can expect to see Pudgy Penguins back inside Walmart stores across the USA. But we do know this won’t be the first time the fat flightless birds have marched into Wally World!

Back in 2023, Pudgy Penguins plushies waddled their way into 2,000 Walmart stores nationwide before returning in 2024 with a second set of plushies!

And Walmart is far from the only place where Pengu has been popping up.

As the Gazette previously reported, Pudgy Penguins has been pursuing retail in a big way this year with Pudgy Penguins making  their way into Target with plushies and Vibes TCG cards, as well as Barnes & Noble and Books-A-Million.

 

“A brand that started on the internet, now sitting in the toy aisle of one of the biggest retailers in the world, right next to household names,” Pudgy Penguins Marketing Lead SHL tweeted in July. “Millions of people are going to see Pudgy Penguins more than ever before. The mission was always to go beyond the internet, and the best part is, we're just getting started.”
