WELCOME A-BORED: As The Community Waits For Testnet Curtis, The Co-Founder Of Offchain Labs Joined The BAYC

After working to make ApeChain a reality for months, the Co-Founder of Offchain Labs officially aped into the Bored Ape Yacht Club.

On Tuesday, as $Ape holders and Apes around the swamp awaited the launch of the ApeCoin DAO’s Testnet Curtis, Offchain Labs’ Steven Goldfeder announced that he had joined the BAYC.

“The apes have been hard at work,” he tweeted. “Celebrating the launch of Curtis Testnet the only way possible: Welcome home BAYC #9510. t's been awesome getting to know the @ApeCoinDAO and @YugaLabs teams better these past few months since completing the vote. Excited to see the gates for ApeChain opening soon.  Arbitrum and Apes are stronger together.”

Goldfeder’s Ape is a six-trait dark brown fur ape with a cowboy shirt, holographic eyes, and a beanie. Based on these traits, Goldfeder’s primate is the 4577th rarest Bored Ape, according to Rarity Sniper.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Goldfeder’s Offchain Labs, along with Horizen Labs and Arbitrum, were selected by the $Ape community to build the ApeCoin DAO an ApeChain in February 2024.
