NFL player and longtime NFT enthusiast, Eric Ebron purchased his first Bored Ape earlier today.

“Sooooo… Where my BAYC fam at," Tight end tweeted along with a screenshot of his new Bored Ape. “@BoredApeYC Web3 been a helluva adventure and meeting people like @Cashtronaut_eth who sold me this Ape. “

Ebron’s Bored Ape is Bored Ape #6425. Bored Ape #6425 is a six trait dark brown fur primate with a sleeveless logo tee, bloodshot eyes, and a beanie.

Following his purchase, Ebron changed his Twitter profile photo to Bored Ape #6425

While Bored Ape #6425 is Ebron’s first Bored Ape, the NFL player is no stranger to the swamp!

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Ebron has owned two Mutant Apes over the last year; he currently holds Mutant Ape #4347.

After Ebron picked up Bored Ape #6425, the Bored Ape Gazette reached out to BAYC member Cashtronaut.Eth to find out how it felt to sell a valuable NFT to a pro athlete.

“I’ve gotten to know him pretty well through the Chimpers community and it’s crazy how humble he is,” Cashtronaut said. “I legit thought I was getting catfished at first but he’s just a Degen like us and I’m stoked that he’s in the BAYC finally!”
