Two years and hundreds of Apes welcomed later, the Bored Ape Yacht Club’s community led onboarding crew just got an upgrade that’s helping new frens feel right at home around the swamp.

On Wednesday, Welcome Apes announced its new Welcome website and experience package for newcomers to the best club on the internet, a new system designed to help arriving Apes plug into the culture in a way that’s anything but boring.
Just joined the @BoredApeYC,” Welcome Apes tweeted. “Head to our website and start completing quests designed to help you plug into the club and earn something special put together by Apes who care.”
The new hub includes a community resources page filled with official links and X accounts that are a who’s who of Apes to follow, an Otherside events calendar, and even a Bored Ape Gazette news feed packed with the latest updates from around the swamp.

With these additions, Welcome Apes has officially transformed into the entry hub for all things Ape.
The timing of these changes makes sense considering how much the BAYC ecosystem has grown over the years.
What started as 10,000 digital primates drawing penises on bathroom walls one pixel at a time has evolved into a full-fledged ecosystem complete with a chain, a metaverse, and builders and for newcomers, it can feel overwhelming.
That’s why Welcome Apes also created its new “Welcome to the Swamp” quests, which give new frens the chance to introduce themselves to the broader community, explore some of the swamp’s staples, and earn a Welcome Package filled with Made By Apes goodies!

“Qualifying new Apes who join the club this year will have 45 days to complete guided quests that help you learn the ecosystem and find your place in the community,” Welcome Apes announced. “Our team walks with you every step of the way. Finish the quests → receive a physical Welcome Package built by us and partnered Ape brands.”
