The metaverse is looking more and more like Jurassic Park after the Zards’ founder unleashed his pre-ape-toric PixelSaurus onto the Otherside as the world’s first rideable character!
On Tuesday, the wizarding pixel world of the Zards expanded after the project’s founder, Seb Brooks, announced that his previously extinct collection of dinosaurs was evolving and that Zards, Apes, and Hoodlums could now ride them by minting an all new PixelSaurus Claw NFT!
“PixelSaurus was my first digital collectibles project in Web3, and is actually part of the same world of the Zards,” Brooks told the Gazette. “Ever since we first heard about the OtherSide, I’d always dreamed of having our little Dinosaur Avatars running around the OtherSide, and once we finally added them, the #1 comment we kept getting was it would be so cool to ride them."
So Brooks and his team did just that!
“We launched the Rider Mounts today, which also happen to be the first-ever rideable animal in the OtherSide, and all you need is a PixelSaurus Claw (minting now on OpenSea for 0.02 ETH) and one of the compatible Riders. At launch we have Zards, Hoodlums, BAYC and MAYC added, with more coming over the next few days.”
In total, there are only 2,000 PixelSaurus Claw NFTs, which means just 2,000 people will ever be able to ride one of these prehistoric pixelated beasts around the swamp.
