Break out the Midtown uniforms, clean up those résumés, and get ready to make some coffee runs for the senior brokers because it’s almost intern season at the Stonk Exchange!

On Tuesday, Clutch Markets founder 0xSimpleFarmer officially confirmed during an episode of Coffee with Captain that interns are coming to the StonkBrokers ecosystem!

“Interns are coming,” he said. “That’s now something that the art is being worked on.”

 

Tonight, we do not know exactly when these interns will report for their first day on the trading floor or exactly how they will work. However, 0xSimpleFarmer did confirm that the interns will not dilute existing StonkBrokers’ share of the ecosystem’s rewards.

“Interns are going to let people not have the rewards flow and power that a whole StonkBroker has, but maybe 5% of it,” he said. “I think it just makes sense. I know there are a lot of people who want to be part of our marketing machine, pfp-ing a StonkBroker, but they cant get in. so I want to give people that option. But I have to do it without diluting the original product.”

0xSimpleFarmer went on to explain that StonkBroker holders would have the option to create Intern NFTs and offer them a portion of their Broker’s existing marketing rewards.

“This instead allows  the OG StonkBrokers to, if they want, to create interns and monetize via their interns by just offering up a share of their current marketing rewards,” SimpleFarmer said. “It’s cutting the pie into smaller pieces rather than diluting it.”

In other words, think less issuing new shares and more hiring an extra pair of hands!
