WHAT HAPPENS AT APEFEST, STAYS AT APEFEST: BAYC’s Flagship Event Will Kick Off With A Party That Morphs Into A 48 Hour, Community-Led Adventure In Las Vegas, According To Yuga Labs’ VP

ApeFest alpha was the talk of the timeline after Yuga Labs' Vice President of Brand Production, Chad Calcagno, stopped by this week’s Meet At The Clubhouse Space to share some early details, including that ApeFest 2025 will kick off with a Friday night event that morphs into a 48 hour, choose-your-own, community-led bored bender with the best club on the internet!

Things were anything but boring around the swamp on Friday, when Calcagno joined Barron Von Hustle and IllaDaProducer to discuss “the worst-kept secret in all of Web3” on Spaces!

“Vegas is the perfect spot because it has something for everybody,” Calcagno said. “There’s the debauchery, there’s the shows, there’s the dope food. Rooms of all price points. It’s like the perfect Disney world for a bunch of Apes. We’re stoked over here and just looking forward to October.”

 

At this time, we do not know exactly where in Las Vegas ApeFest 2025 will take place, but we do know that Yuga Labs’ plan is to host a kickoff event on Friday, October 24th, and then give the community room to create and lead the weekend, whether that means literally no sleep at ApeFest, shooting guns in the desert, or seeing shows with your frens!

“We are early. We don’t want to say to much to early. Part of the fun is the surprise,” Calcagno said. “For us we are just trying to take the stuff that we liked from last year, while also constantly reinviting ourselves. We know in Vegas some people are going to go fucking hard, some people are going to be up all night. So we really wanted to start it off with a Friday night thing and let the weekend be for the community. So make sure you get in so you can enjoy the Friday night ApeFest and then we will be there helping the community do their thing…We are hoping for a banger weekend full of no sleep and tons of other shit to do.”

 

Calcagno went on to say that he and the Yuga Labs team are planning to make ApeFest 2025 tickets and plus one vouchers available for claim in the next month or so. Like previous ApeFest events, these tickets will be free but require a refundable deposit.

He also shared that Yuga Labs is working with Made By Apes brands Sleap.io and Ape Concierge to help community members of all price ranges find hotels. Calcagno then emphasized that including MBA brands is a priority, but it will be more difficult than it was in Hong Kong and Portugal because Las Vegas venues “don’t fuck around,” he said. “But we will do as much as we can there.”
