WINNER: Mohamed Was Elected To The ApeCoin DAO's Special Council Last Night!

ApeCoin DAO Contributor Mohamed.Edu/Moca will be bringing his years of tokenomics experience to the ApeCoin DAO’s Special Council after his big win late last night!

Weeks of campaigning, Twitter Spaces, and hard work paid off for Mohamed on Wednesday after he won a spot on the ApeCoin DAO’s 2024/2025 Special Council with 12 million votes, or 36% of the community casting their coins for him!

After being elected to $Ape office last night, Mohamed took to Twitter and thanked his fellow candidates, the Web3 community, and said that its time to make $Ape great again!

“Wow what an intense few weeks it has been over the course of this @apecoin election,” Mohamed tweeted. “Big shout out to all my fellow nominees. Each and every one of you should be proud, as for the first time, every candidate was bringing tangible value and that was apparent from the spaces and discussions we had been having. Massive congratulations to @Waabam_eth on his reelection, and really the story of how the community came together as one to support you. Major bullish signal seeing everyone moving together as one! Last and definitely not least, thank you to all the Apes (special shout out to @Lee_MAYC) and all in the @Moca_Network who trusted me with their vote and ensured I joined Waabam on the next leg of this journey, ensuring a successful launch of Apechain and fundamentally Making Ape Great Again! Together we can Together we will Apes stronger together.”

 

 

Along with Mohamed’s victory, Waabam was also elected to a spot on the Special Council. Johnny Lee and Romantik were elected as the DAO’s first two Web3 Development Working Group Stewards. AllCityBAYC and DeSmart were elected to be the DAO’s next Governance Working Group Stewards. Phil Watkins was elected as the DAO’s next Metaverse Working Group Steward. Yumipeixuan was elected as the DAO’s next Marketing and Communications Working Group Steward.
