Almost a year after the Yugaverse first ventured into the sewers underneath the Bored Ape Yacht Club to Dookey Dash through the pipes to retrieve a golden key from Jimmy the Monkey’s butthole, Yuga Labs announced that its going to be reopening the drain later this year for Dookey Dash Unclogged and that everyone in the world will be invited to compete for insane prizes!
Things were anything but boring around the swamp on Tuesday after Yuga Labs announced that Dookey Dash is coming back and that everyone in Web3 and beyond is invited to ape in!
“Looks like Curtis needs to get the plunger out, there’s something in the toilet,” Yuga Labs tweeted from its gaming account this afternoon. “Dookey Dash Unclogged, coming Q1 2024. This time anyone can play.”
Dookey Dash Unclogged will be similar to the original game that the Yugaverse collectively spent an ungodly amount of time playing last year, but with more customization, enhanced graphics, mobile gameplay, and it will welcome Apes and non-apes to participate!
“The goal of Dookey Dash Unclogged is to put BAYC and Yuga into a million people's pockets,” Yuga Labs Co-Founder Garga tweeted. "(In the dumbest way possible lol).”
Dookey Dash Unclogged is set to debut sometime in quarter one, 2024, according to Yuga Labs.
While we do not know exactly when the game will be available, we do know that BAYC, MAYC, BAKC, and HV-MTL holders will receive some sort of benefit in the game and that Dookey Dashers will be competing in seasonal and weekly contests for legendary prizes and presumably $Ape!
