A STAR IS BORED: A Blue Beam Bored Ape Once Part Of Universal Music Group’s Kingship Sells For 47.5 ETH Or $113K Via GrailsOTC

A star is bored around the swamp after an anonymous crypto whale added a second high end and famous Blue Beam Bored Ape, that was once part of the NFT band Kingship, to their collection.

On Wednesday, wallet 0x434f25dd843b35f6265a1d7bb750056f077d48bd purchased Bored Ape #7796 from longtime Bored Ape Yacht Club member J1mmy.eth for 47.5 ETH, or $113,000, via Yuga Labs’ recently launched over the counter trading desk for high end NFTs dubbed GrailsOTC.

 

Bored Ape #7796 is a five trait white fur primate with a striped tee, bored mouth, aquamarine background and stunning blue beam eyes, making the primate one of the rarrest Apes around the swmap.

 

Along with its rare traits, Bored Ape #7796 also comes with a lot of lore. The primate was originally minted by one of BAYC’s earliest believers, J1mmy.eth, who held it for the last five years. It also starred as one of four Apes in Kingship, the Universal Music Group backed NFT band launched in 2022.

Over the years, the group made waves in Roblox, launched an NFT project, and even partnered with M&M's on an exclusive candy drop. But in recent years it appears the project broke up.

 

Tonight, not much is known about Bored Ape #7796’s new owner or what they have planned for the once-famous primate. However, this appears to be their second high end Ape purchase in recent days.

 

Last week, wallet 0x434f25d purchased Bored Ape #9572, a gold fur primate, from longtime BAYC member and NFT collector T Tony for 72 ETH, or $173,000.
