A star is bored and back, but we still don’t know who they are!
From the stage to the swamp, the mystery surrounding anonymous K-pop performer and Bored Ape Yacht Club member FilmStar grew on Wednesday after the singer purchased another Ape and MachiBigBrother dropped yet another clue about who they might really be!
Guess who’s back? Back again,” Machi tweeted after FilmStar bought Bored Ape #7653. “Hint: He owns a record label.”
Last night’s purchase marked the eighth Bored Ape that FilmStar has bought since April 26th. Take a look at the growing collection below:
Tonight, we still don’t officially know who FilmStar is, but word around the Otherside is that the mysterious collector may actually be Taiwanese singer, songwriter and actor Jay Chou.

As the Gazette previously reported, MachiBigBrother has helped onboard some of the biggest stars in the world into the best club on the internet.
Back in 2022, he onboarded singer-songwriter JJ Lin to the club, who went on to create a Made By Apes brand dubbed SMG: Still Moving Under Gunfire, launching a line of clothing featuring his primate, Bored Ape #3914.
