Adidas Announced That Shipping Has Began For Its Into The Metaverse Hoodies

After months of waiting, Adidas announced that is has begun shipping its “Looks Comfy” hoodies to its Into The Metaverse holders.


“Today, we are elated to answer WEN merch,” Adidas’ tweeted from its Mascot Indigo Herz’s Twitter. “The ‘Looks Comfy’ Hoodies will start shipping out today! Our priority is to get you your first merch as quickly as possible We can't wait to see how you wear your hoodie Go to Discord for the full announcement.”





In the Discord announcement, Adidas wrote that Top Drawer warehouse will begin shipping the hoodies today, but the beanies, that were supposed to be shipped with the hoodies, will have to be mailed later. “To get you looking comfy asap, we had to make the decision to x pause on sending out the beanies x for this first shipment due to them not making quality control. Our priority is to get you your first merch as fast as we can.”


As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Adidas closed the window for ITM holders to claim their physical merchandise on May 18th. In total, ITM holders will receive three physical items: a hoodie, a beanie, and a neon tracksuit!


All three of these items were featured in Adidas’ collaboration comic with Punks Comic, the Bored Ape Yacht Club and G-Money.





As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the BAYC, Punks Comic and Gmoney all teased a collab with Adidas on November 28th,2021. At the time, all three of these Web3 brands shared a 3D model of Bored Ape #8874, AKA Indigo Herz rocking an Adidas tracksuit with the Adidas logo on the ape’s right and the BAYC, Punks Comic and GMoney logos on the left.





Adidas then released its NFT project into the Metaverse on December 17th. Adidas’ NFT collection consist of 30,000 NFTs that pay homage to the three NFT projects Adidas collaborated with.

“NFT pioneers Gmoney, Punks Comic and Bored Ape Yacht Club each help guide adidas Originals Into The Metaverse,” Adidas wrote on its website. “With the community, for the community.”
