Avenged Sevenfold’s lead vocalist M Shadows was making “Unholy Confessions” with his wallet today, revealing that he’s still bullish on NFTs.

The swamp was looking more like “A Little Piece of Heaven” on Wednesday after longtime Bored Ape Yacht Club member and singer M Shadows, a.k.a. Matt Sanders, changed his profile photo to an undead Bored Ape that he bought for 14.5 ETH, or $37,100 USD, earlier today.

#NewProfilePic,” he tweeted along with a photo of his Ape.

M Shadows’ new Ape is Bored Ape #4206, a six-trait zombie fur primate with a trippy captain’s hat, bloodshot eyes, and a wool turtleneck.

“Matt has been around crypto and NFTs for a long time and knows what he’s doing,” Welcome Apes Co-Founder Law told the Gazette. “Him deciding to ape-in now and scoop a grail is a bullish sentiment IMO. He’s seeing a good deal and taking advantage. I’m calling bottom!”

As Law said, M Shadows is no stranger to the club or the NFT space. He’s been collecting and flipping NFTs since March 2021 and has owned and sold many Apes over the years, accumulating quite the collection, including a punk rock Mutant Ape, three CryptoPunks, seven Otherdeeds, a Koda, a Meebit, six Chromie Squiggles, a Fidenza, a Ringer, and more.

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow M Shadows and let you know what he does next around the swamp. Stay tuned for updates!
