Ahoy there and all abored!
Things are getting burgee around the swamp this week as the Bored Ape Yacht Club wraps up its latest Anchor drop with Japanese designer Uchi by giving one lucky Ape the chance to win a piece of club history!

Following Friday's BAYC x Uchi apparel drop, which blended vintage workwear and Japanese aesthetics with the best club on the internet, the BAYC is inviting Apes to enter a raffle for one of just two custom burgee flags! The other will eventually hang in the rafters of the club's future Clubhouse.

“One custom burgee flag for the future Clubhouse. One for a lucky Ape to fly at home,” the BAYC tweeted. “Sign up for your chance to win. https://uchi.bayc.com Entries close Tuesday, November 3 at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET.”
As the Gazette previously reported, these flags have become a staple of the BAYC's Anchor drops, with the club collaborating with each of its previous partners, King Saladeen, Sean Wotherspoon and STONROK, to create these high flying pieces!
Best of all, these flags aren't just fun collectibles. They're part of the club's story and tie everything back to the Bored Ape Yacht Club's nautical roots, which have been a priority under Yuga Labs CEO Michael Figge since he took over the company earlier this year.
“On the water, a burgee isn't decoration. It's an identity,” the BAYC explained. “It tells people who you are. Your club. Your crew. Your colors flying from the stern so everyone knows who's coming through. We wanted this one to carry that same meaning. Not just a logo on fabric, but something you'd actually raise because it stands for something.”
