StonkBrokers' all new streaming platform for Robinhood Chain, dubbed Clutch TV, went live for the first time ever today, even though it wasn't exactly ready for primetime!

 

On Monday, longtime Bored Ape Yacht Club member and musician MyDeadFriendz made history by becoming the first person to launch a stream on StonkBrokers' new platform, which aims to combine the best of crypto's past social trends with the future of onchain stocks!

 

 

While there is no recording of today's stream, it appears to have been a success based on the available live chat, where Clutch TV creator 0xSimpleFarmer thanked MyDeadFriendz for firing up a stream after discovering he could.

 

“I appreciate it my goat,” 0xSimpleFarmer wrote.  “Its actually not live yet but I love that you launched a stream anyways.”

 

And from the looks of things, this unexpected first stream went quite well!

Community members reported that the sound was crisp, the video looked good and the tipping features were working, with 0xSimpleFarmer and others sending MyDeadFriendz $STONKBROKER, Apple stock tokens, USDG and ETH during the broadcast.

 

“This works way better than spaces right now,” longtime StonkBroker Tusk wrote.

As the Gazette previously reported, 0xSimpleFarmer first unveiled Clutch TV on Halloween night, announcing that he had built a new streaming platform designed specifically for Robinhood Chain's growing onchain economy.

 

“Previous cycles' strongest trading economies were enhanced by streaming services linked to blockchain rails,” he tweeted. “So I figured Robinhood Chain could use its own, a place for users to discuss tokens, onchain stocks and new developments while also streaming to X.”

 

 

But Clutch TV isn't just some copy/ paste version of Twitch or YouTube!

The platform is designed to let viewers tip their favorite streamers using tokenized stocks, while also introducing NFT based social passes that give holders access to private, token gated chats, similar to the keys from the friend.tech era.

Clutch TV also features 0xSimpleFarmer's Anvil AMM technology, allowing these NFT social passes to be paired with tokens and could create an entirely new onchain economy around streamers and their communities!

 

Tonight, 0xSimpleFarmer told the Gazette that Clutch TV is officially now in Beta mode and that anyone and everyone can go live or tune in right now!
