ANTE UP, APES!: The BAYC Is Hosting A Poker Tournament During ApeFest Weekend This October!

Apes, get ready to ante up in Sin City later this year, because the Bored Ape Yacht Club just announced it’ll be hosting its first ever poker tournament during ApeFest weekend!

Lucky be a primate tonight! On Friday, the BAYC turned over pocket Apes on the timeline, announcing a first of its kind poker tourney that will take place as part of the club’s ApeFest 2025 festivities.

“The Bored Ape Poker Classic Sunday, October 26 The Venetian, Las Vegas 10AM–4PM,” the club tweeted. “Save the date. Limited capacity. Sign-up details coming soon.”

 

 

As we wait for more details about this year’s event, like signup info and entry fees, we do know that this poker tournament was the  Yuga Labs Co-Founder Gordon Goner idea and that a World Series of Poker style champion bracelet fit for the swamp will be up for grabs!

“There’s going to be a bored ape poker tournament at Ape Fest Vegas btw,” he tweeted earlier this month. “Not sure about details or entry price yet, etc. Have asked team to work on a sick winner’s bracelet. Very stoked about all this. Would love to see it happen yearly, depending on how it goes.”

 

 

After the club’s announcement, community members filled the comment section with poker playing versions of their JPEGS, saying they can’t wait to ante up and ape in later this year!
