APE FEST UPDATE: Garga Says That This Year's Ape Fest Will Happen In Late 2023

As many Bored Ape Yacht Club Members asked, ‘wen Ape Fest?' the club's co-founder, Garga, teased that it will be taking place in late 2023.

Friday night was anything but boring around the swamp as Garga took to Discord and spoke with the community.

During tonight’s Discord discussion, BAYC member Snow asked if Ape Fest could happen next month to which Garga replied, no.

“No, it’s closer in date to the original AF (Ape Fest) than AF 2022. More on that soon,” Garga said.

The first Ape Fest took place between October 31 and November 6th,2021. Based on Garga’s message tonight it is safe to assume that Ape Fest 2023 will happen around those dates give or take.

While the community still does not know where or when Ape Fest 2023 will be, other than the fact that it will not be in New York City, we do know that Yuga Labs will give Apes plenty of time to plan their trips!

“We just want to confirm with folks it’s not going to be in July,” Yuga Labs’ Digital and social media Director, Ian De Borja, said during the BAYC Community Council’s Twitter Space on May 31st. “It will be this year, but it will not be in July. So, people will have time to plan for things. We’re going to update folks as soon as we can. There will be time.”
