APE IN AND STAY A WHILE: The BAYC Opened A New Members Only Hangout Channel On Telegram And Every Ape Is Invited To Join!

Ape in and stay a while!
Things were anything but boring around the swamp on Friday after Yuga Labs opened its new member sonly Telegram channel and invited every Bored Ape and Mutant to ape in and hang out!
The new Apes-only chat is called the Hangout and is exclusively for BAYC and MAYC holders. To enter, club members must first click the “JOIN NOW” button in the BAYC’s Telegram channel: https://t.me/OfficialBAYC/127
From there, Apes will be directed to The Dock, where they’ll be prompted to join the Hangout and verify their Ape via Telegram’s token gated Hubz app.
Note, Hubz recognizes delegated wallets, so you don’t need to connect the wallet that actually holds your Ape. For more information on safely joining this group, check out BAYC member and Boring Security contributor Drew’s thread below:
As of tonight, 194 Apes have already joined the Hangout, with many longtime members saying the chat is giving them early BAYC vibes. Yuga Labs CEO Garga even teased that this year’s ApeFest musical lineup is “dope.”
“Old BAYC discord vibes in new TG + some alpha from @CryptoGarga,” BAYC Member Marcel tweeted. “ If u r an ape and u r not in that chat wtf are u even doing MF! Oh btw, it's @BoredApeYC only, so u can still go and get one to enjoy Hangout with Apes!... Return to Monke.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the BAYC first opened its Telegram channel back in June 2025, inviting everyone to ape in. Shortly after, the club launched its own BAYC “Sticker” NFT pack on Telegram’s TON blockchain which sold out in seconds.
