APE-ING IN IS A FAMILY AFFAIR: BAYC Member Ed Purchases A Death Bot Ape For 31 ETH After His Dad Falls In Love With It, Bringing Another Family Member To The Swamp!

Ape-ing into the club has become a family affair for Bored Ape Yacht Club member Ed, who just picked up a new grail after his dad fell in love with it.

On Thursday, the notable collector purchased Bored Ape #4380, a six trait Death Bot primate with an earring and a black BAYC hat, from BAYC member  NoNameApe for 31 Eth or $54,300 USD.

 

 

“My dad loved it so he got it now,” he told the Gazette.

 

Bringing family members into the club is nothing new for Ed.

 As the Gazette previously  reported, he recently onboarded his wife to the best club on the internet last week.

 

“I’m just super happy that I get to share this journey with my wife,” Ed told the Gazette. “Seeing her genuinely excited about her ape “cuz it’s just cool” makes it even more special. I found something I enjoy and now it’s something we enjoy together.”

 

After Thursday's purchase, Ed told the Gazette that his family did a bit of a reshuffle when it came to who owns which Ape, with his wife deciding she preferred the new Death Bot over the spacesuit Ape she picked up last week.

With the swap complete, Ed's dad now owns the Hip Hop Ape, his mom has the spacesuit primate, and, of course, the Trippy Fur Ape remains Ed's.
