Let not your $Ape be troubled!
The ApeChain revival is upon us as Yuga Labs CEO Michael Figge allocates 4 million $Ape to the ecosystem's native casino dApp, Ape Church, in a show of faith that could move mountains and grow the token!

On Tuesday, Figge took to the timeline to discuss how ecosystems can grow a token's size and reach by supporting their biggest builders. Pointing to the recent success of Ansem's token and the way Solana backed its momentum, Figge explained how he believes Yuga Labs can apply those same lessons to ApeChain by identifying its biggest winners and supporting them!
“Well-run protocols and apps put their own attention and weight behind winners to amplify them,” he wrote. We saw this with Phantom and Solana supporting Ansem….In that spirit, I think it’s important that we identify and back clear winners on ApeChain. @apechurch is one of them. Looking at the numbers onchain (defillama), it is the #1 app in its class by fees on any chain, the clear winner among apps built by our community. We need to get behind it at a protocol level.”
With that, Figge announced that Yuga Labs had deposited 4 million $APE into Ape Church's decentralized house, making it the largest luck based protocol by total value locked, according to DefiLLama.

With this additional $Ape, Ape Church can now scale an grow as a protocol and casino, which helps ApeCoin and ApeChain!
As the Gazette previously reported, Ape Church launched in November 2025 and has been described as the "Uniswap of Chance." Since then, it has quickly become one of the most interesting DeFi products in Web3, with nearly 160 million $Ape wagered on it!

“The goal of Ape Church is to create the fairest, most decentralized games of chance hub on ApeChain, where projects, meme coins, and IP can build directly into our decentralized liquidity pool,” Ape Church Founder Koko told the Gazette back in November 2025. “At first glance, you might think it’s just another casino, but under the hood it’s a full blown, robust DeFi protocol with massive room to scale and iterate.”
Following Figge's announcement, Koko thanked him and Yuga Labs for their vote of confidence and putting their faith in the Church.
