$APE OR DIE. MAKE YOUR CHOICE: ApeCoin's Wheel Of Fate Starts To Spin And Someone Will Win A Bored Ape Soon!

Apes and $Apes woke up this morning in the middle of a Saw inspired game. But instead of reverse bear traps and needle pits, the ApeCoin intern will have them collecting balls and spinning the Wheel of Fate all month, hoping to win onchain prizes like a Bored Ape and more!
On Tuesday, the ApeCoin intern took to the timeline like a degenerate Jigsaw to announce that a new game called “Wheel of Fate” has begun around the swamp, and reveal that everyone who participated in Spotlight Season 2 this summer will get to ape in soon.
“Wheel of Fate begins 8/18,” ApeCoin wrote. “You'll need Wheel of Fate Balls to play. Will you mint them, or be left to buy on secondary? Jigsaw says, "the rules of our game have been made very clear. You need to abide by these rules."
“Wheel of Fate is a twist on rewards distribution for the ApeChain community.” The ApeCoin intern explained. “Wheel of Fate uses Proof of Play’s vRNG (Verified Random Number Generator) to determine winners to ensure fair draws. Participants are separated into rounds based on their placement on the Spotlight leaderboard as shown below (You can participate in every round your placement is in the range for.”
This Wheel of Fate game began this morning with a choice by the top ten Spotlight finishers to forgo their “High Roller” round of spins, opting instead to keep their seasonal Spotlight prizes and add a Bored Ape to the community wide Wheel of Fate Round dubbed the Multiball Round that will take place later this month.
Coming up, the ApeCoin intern will host two rounds of Wheel of Fate for the Spotlight Season 2 finishers ranked 1 to 100, called the Gold Round, and another for those who placed 1 to 1,000, called the Silver Round. Both games offer some insane prizes to these top finishers. Check out what’s up for grabs below:
Along with these two rounds for the top Spotlight Season 2 finishers, there will also be a community wide Wheel of Fate round dubbed the Multiball Round beginning on August 18, where everyone who participated can collect balls to spin the wheel and possibly win prizes ranging from ApeCoin to the grand prize, a Bored Ape!
“Each wallet that participated in Spotlight: Simply Built Different will be able to mint several Multiball NFTs per day,” the intern wrote. “Come back each day to mint your multiball NFTs, if you do not mint during a day you forfeit your allowance for that day. Ten Multiball NFTs can be turned in for one spin of the Multiball Round. Once a player spins they will receive an NFT (either a Prize Voucher NFT or a No-Prize NFT), which will then be removed from the Wheel. Multiball and Prize Voucher NFTs may be sold on the secondary market.”
