ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?: The Mintotaurs Will Be Battling In The Grand Games Of The Coliseum On ApeChain Beginning June 7th!

Hear ye, hear ye! The ‘Grand Games’ are about to begin in the ApeChain ecosystem after the Mintotaurs announced that the project’s Coliseum will be opening on June 7th.

Are you not entertained? On Friday, the mythical Mintotaurs were sharpening their horns and shaving their beards for ApeChain battle after the project’s founder, James Hall, put out the call: The Grand Games of the Coliseum are about to begin!

 

“MAY THE ANCESTORS GUIDE YOUR STRIKES,” the Mintotuars project wrote on a flyer for the event. “MAY AUROX LEND YOU STRENGTH. YOUR BLOCD SPILLED TODAY FEEDSTHE GLORY OF THAR-GANN!”

 

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Hall first teased that the Mintotaurs would be heading into battle against one another on April 29th, just days after the project’s mint.

 

“Arak spoke low. "We ready the Colosseum. Not for games. For war." Torak grunted. "Steel, not songs." The albino mage only nodded, frost mist curling between his horns They would not wait. Not for bells. Not for warnings. Before the Depths stirred— they would hone themselves the old way: Horn against horn. Strength against strength. The winds howled over the cliffs. The gates of Thar-Gann loomed ahead. The trials would begin soon. And this time, the mountain would shake with the clash of horn and fury.”

 

 

At this time, we don’t know much about the actual gameplay of the Grand Games of the Coliseum, but it appears to be a points-based battle system where Mintotaurs' wins and losses are tracked.
