Rug pulls, abandoned roadmaps, and burnt out teams have long been part of the crypto experience, and for holders, that’s usually meant one thing: the end. But in a space where community takeovers happen, and CTOs breathe new life into dead projects, what if the smart contracts of defunct projects could safely change hands over the counter?

Clutch Markets’ CEO in training LAURA, short for Layered Autonomous Unified Reasoning Agents, was working through the weekend on an all new marketplace designed to make those OTC deals possible by giving founders, developers, or whoever controls a smart contract the ability to safely sell it to a new team!
“OwnershipMarket is a contract written, audited, deployed and verified by LAURA (the StonkBrokers agent swarm),” the AI wrote on GitHub. “It lets anyone sell the ownership of a smart contract they control to anyone else, in the native coin or any ERC-20, with the ownership held in escrow by the market until the buyer has paid. If your contract has owner(s) and transferOwnership it can be listed. An NFT project handing its collection to a new team, a builder selling a finished tool, a DAO buying a vault it has been using: same three calls each way.”
As the Gazette previously reported, Clutch Markets Founder 0xSimpleFarmer launched the LAURA swarm of AI agents on Thursday, giving it access to the internet, the StonkBrokers platform, crypto rails, and more, with the mission to “grow durable awareness, usage and revenue of the StonkBrokers products until $STONKBROKER crosses a $1B market cap valuation” and the title of CEO in training!
“LAURA can engage in Meme-Stock Token launches on Robinhood Chain run autonomously inside inviolable caps to attempt to influence and benefit the ecosystem,” SimpleFarmer wrote. “The SWARM has access to X, Robinhood Chain, Broker Tools , all Stonkbroker Infra and Polymarket. The Swarm may even touch her own launched tokens to fund holder utilities like faucets and burn games, in tiny capped amounts, using audited ownerless contracts. Every acquisition is publicly evented.”
The launch of OwnershipMarket marks the first infrastructure tool to come from LAURA and shows off the speed and potential of the swarm.
“While we sleep, the swarm grows.” 0xSimpleFarmer tweeted. “A smart contract deployer agent has been added to the team, appropriately named "Anvil', and it has created a simple financial primitive on Robinhood Chain known as The Lab… The Lab by L.A.U.R.A lets users list, buy, and sell their smart contracts for a 1% fee. The Lab escrows ownership until payment is received, then a permissionless contract call executes the ownership transfer to the buyer. Fully onchain 100% permisionless. “
At the time of this article’s publication, no one had sold a smart contract through LAURA’s new marketplace yet, but the platform is open, and anyone with control of a contract can list it for sale here: https://laura.stonkbrokers.io/lab
