Boop. On Your Chain!
On Thursday, popular Arbitrum memecoin Boop, based around the idea of touching a doggo’s nose just right, tweeted that something is brewing between it and ApeChain.
"Booping in Orbit,” the token wrote along with an image of a gorillia Booping a pup. “coming soon to ApeCoin”
At this time, we do not know exactly what Boop coming to ApeCoin looks like or what it entails.
But yesterday, Bored Ape Gazette Live host LawOfTheSaw tried to find out more from ApeChain’s Head of DeFi, 0xsimpleFarmer, during the show. However, he booped the question!
“So you know when someone boops your nose,” SimpleFarmer said. “its like that. But it’s a memecoin. They’re going to come in and its not gotcha nose, its Boop your nose. And they’re great. Anytime they message me BD stuff, I just reply with Boop… So we are going to see where this is going to go . I think skies the limit for this project.”
ApeCoin’s Lost also booped in on the conversation to remind everyone that ApeChain is the home of communities.
“We say that ApeChain is the home of NFTs all the time, but what we really mean is Apechain is the fhome of community. All these different NFTs represent communities, there’s people behind all these NFTs. Its not just art. Its not just pictures. These are communtities of people that enjoy all sorts of different things. And now we got another community joining us. Now we got the Boop community. They’re pointing right at us. What more could you ask for. Im sure there will be more information about that coming out soon.”
As we wait for more information about Boop coming to ApeCoin, here’s what we do know about the token: it launched in December 2023, features a very cute doggy with a very big nose, and calls itself Arbitrum’s meme. Today the token has a market cap of $3.89 million USD. Not Boop!
