Bored Ape Whale, MachiBigBrother, Just Bought His First Gold Fur Ape For Nearly $200K

A Gold fur Bored Ape was sold for a recording setting amount this weekend.
Bored Ape # 197 sold for 109 Ethereum or roughly $196,000 USD Saturday afternoon to Bored Yacht Club collector, MachiBigBrother. This purchase marks the highest sold Bored Ape to date.
“ All gold everything,” MachiBigBrother tweeted after the purchase. “LFG”
Bored Ape #197 is a six trait gold fur ape with a BAYC red hat and bone necklace. These traits make Bored Ape #197 the 73rd most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.
After the purchase, The Bored Ape Gazette reached out to MachiBigBrother for comment. MachiBigBrother simply replied, “Apes together strong.”
MachiBigBrother is no stranger to big Bored Ape purchases. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, MachiBigBrother bought a trippy fur Bored Ape #2087 from Crypto Twitter influencer, J1mmy.eth for 42 Eth or S100,000 earlier this month.
In total, MachiBigBrother is now the fifth highest holder of Bored Apes. He currently has 68 in his collection worth at least 700.22 Eth, according to Evaluate. Market.
Bored Ape #197 is MachiBigBrother’s first gold fur ape.
