Bored Ape Yacht Club Members Will Get More Information About Yuga Labs' Otherside 'Apes Come Home' Event Next Week!

Bored Ape Yacht Club members will be heading to the Otherside for Yuga Labs’ ‘Apes Come Home’ event later this month and they will get to explore the club’s very own island as their very own primate!

On Saturday, Yuga Labs held its first ever BAYC town hall in the club’s Discord and gave Apes more information on the work they have been putting into Otherside behind the scenes and teased their highly anticipated Apes Come Home event that’s scheduled for later this month.

“Next week Eric Reid, who is leading our Otherside efforts, will share details on the Apes come home event that we are hosting later this month,” Yuga Labs CEO Daniel Alegre said. “While this event showcases our work in development, it represents another significant milestone in our progress in developing the Otherside platform. All 10,000 Apes will finally have their linked accounts on Otherside and get to be on BAYC island as their 3D Apes.”

While all 10,000 Bored Apes are built and ready to roam the Otherside later this month, Yuga Labs Co-Founder, Garga, told the community that they are going to need some more time to model the nearly 20,000 insane Mutant Apes!

“Apes come home unfortunately does not feature Mutant 3D models yet, its just BAYC” he said. “Mutants are super insane and are taking more time. And we want to make sure that people love and enjoy their Bored Apes before we roll out 3D models for Mutants.”

While Mutants will not be able to explore BAYC island as their insane primates later this month, they will be able to participate in the ‘Apes Come Home’ event!

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Yuga Labs first announced its upcoming day in the swamp event last month.
