BORED BEVERAGE? : Rumors Of A Bored Ape Yacht Club X BAPE Beverage Are Brewing Around The Swamp. Here's What You Need To Know:

Rumors of an ape-themed beer or beverage are brewing around the swamp after the Bored Ape Yacht Club announced "BAYC X BAPE Season 2" this morning, with a new graphic featuring cold ones in primates' hands and comments from Yuga Labs CEO Garga at Wednesday’s Otherside Poker night.

Things were anything but boring at the Bored Ape Yacht Club on Friday after the BAYC announced they would be releasing another BAYC X BAPE collection next month.

 

After the announcement, everyone began to ape into the post, searching for alpha about the new collection.

While most spotted the shoes and shirts, some hypebeast BAYC members zoomed in on the Bored Ape X BAPE cans floating around.

These same members then connected BAPE’s past beverage drops to some recent "can" alpha that Garga cracked open during Wednesday’s Otherside Poker night.

“1 thing to note for those unfamiliar with @ABathingApeUS extensive list of products and collaborations. They’ve previously released Bape beer,” BAYC member Franalations tweered. “And we all heard @CryptoGarga say during the poker game that  @BoredApeYC is dropping a can soon. Could we be getting co branded beer.”

 

 

While nothing is confirmed at this time, Garga did tease that Yuga Labs was working on a "bored beverage" back in May.

"Meanwhile, we at yuga will give them the ODK, and maybe make like a fucking liquor or energy drink or something. (working on that),” Garga tweeted on May 25th. “This concludes my rant.”

 

 

Again, while nothing is confirmed, Yuga Labs did file a trademark application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office back in February 2023 for ‘Don’t Drink Me’ featuring the silhouette of a Koda.

“The mark consists of a tombstone shape inside of which appear the words DON'T DRINK ME and the outline of a horned creature's head,” Yuga Labs wrote in its application. “Mark For: DON'T DRINK ME trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of beer; Energy drinks; Non-alcoholic beverages, namely carbonated beverages; Soft drinks; Fruit juices; Drinking waters; Tonic water; Mineral water; Flavored water; Soda water; Cider, non-alcoholic.”
