The Del Mundos returned to the timeline with the third episode of their DocumentaRAY series, titled “From One World To Another.”

It was a Mundos Monday across Web3 as the project released another chapter in its ongoing story, this time depicting Ray’s journey from his world to ours, a moment that felt like one small step for Ray and one giant leap for the project.
The episode begins with Ray transforming into a dolphin and swimming through a swirling vortex filled with USBs, badgers, and even Jeff Bezos clones before finally arriving on Earth.
“Suddenly he crash landed on Earth in a small clearing of trees,” the Narrator explained. “ The smell of real life wet tree trunks, grass, and soil overwhelmed him and he immediately felt a sense of joy that he’d never felt before in the metavertse.”

As Ray marveled at his new surroundings, Squirrel, the character who inadvertently brought him to our world by rubbing together a pair of golden nuts in Episode 2, was far less thrilled to meet the quirky giant.

“Who was this towering stranger with a head reminiscent of a large lemon, and why wasn’t he wearing any clothes,” the narrator said. “ Squirrel didn’t know where to look.”

While Squirrel may not have known what to make of Ray, community members loved the episode and shared reactions to its unique style.
“So good seeing something so English in this space,” KerryEchoes wrote. “ From the traits to the comedy it’s hitting the spot and is a unique breath of fresh air .Wallace & Gromit + Monty Python vibes.”
Simon Eastwood added he enjoyed the science fiction themes and believes future episodes will explore that direction further.
“Episode 3 - reminds me of the ‘absurdist science fiction and witty, philosophical satire’ of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, which I know the founders love,” he said.
As the Gazette previously reported, The Del Mundos is a collection of 10,000 characters that were not digitally generated but physically created using recycled plastics and fabrics. Each character was carefully posed and photographed before being minted onchain.
