BORED CULTURE: See What Yuga Labs Co-Founder Gordon Goner Said About The Company's Culture

After Yuga Labs released more information about the Otherside on Thursday, Yuga Labs Co-Founder Gordon Goner took to Twitter and explained a bit more about the company’s culture.

Bored Ape Yacht Club members are anything but bored tonight after Yuga Labs released a new 65 second trailer for its metaverse, the Otherside. The company also announced that the second trip to the virtual world will be in March 2023.

Following the video’s release, BAYC member BoredElon took to Twitter and wrote how much he appreciated Yuga Labs' “lacks ego.”

“What I appreciate about the BAYC brand and universe being built is that it lacks ego,” BoredElon tweeted. “The way Nintendo games contrast to other popular franchises, it’s more about fun, whimsy, and adventure. Not delivering “cool” or encouraging people to peacock.”

Following BoredElon’s tweet, Gordon Goner replied that the Yuga Labs' team takes itself lightly.

“You nailed it,” Goner tweeted. “It’s about having fun and not taking ourselves too seriously. We’re working on a Yuga culture deck that goes into our philosophy about this.”
