Boring Security Founder Feld Is Running For A Spot On Arbitrum's Security Council! Here's How You Can Support Him:

Boring Security Founder Feld is running for a spot on the Arbitrum ecosystem’s Security Council, and he needs Apes' help to get elected!

The Arbitrum ecosystem is heading to the polls this week, with 36 crypto enthusiasts running for a spot on the blockchain’s Security Council, including longtime Bored Ape Yacht Club member and Boring Security Founder, Feld.

"For me the inspiration was twofold, to get apes more involved with ecosystems tangential to our own (not NFT related), and to get experience with how the Security Council is run over there, to eventually help ApeCoin's security council in the same way,” Feld told the Gazette.

In the last day, the Yugaverse has rallied around Feld’s candidacy, with notable BAYC members like Lumberg, Mozzy, and AcSquared throwing their support behind their fellow primate.

Yuga Labs Co-Founder Garga also took to the timeline to share his support of Feld’s candidacy.

“Didn't know Feld was running for Arbitrum's Security Council,” Garga wrote. “Dude has consistently and without fanfare done SO MUCH to help educate people on security for years. Would be a smart addition imo.”

 

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Boring Security has been a pillar of the BAYC and $Ape ecosystem for years, hosting security talks, educating Apes on wallet health, and teaming up with the DAO to give away $Ape-branded Ledgers.

Most notably, Boring Security and Feld performed a “Christmas miracle” last year when they recovered 55 BAYC members' stolen primates after a hacker exploited an old smart contract on the NFT Trader platform.

 

The window to vote for Feld is currently open, and every BAYC member who holds any Arb is welcome to cast their coins in support of Feld between now and Sunday, October 13, at 9:23 AM EST.
