Bull or bear. Online and IRL. Bored Ape Yacht Club members are building culture brick by brick, expanding the IP into every facet of life and now, LEGO.

On Friday, BAYC member JCM had Apes ready to build after revealing his custom LEGO version of the BAYC’s iconic clubhouse, complete with all the parts and step by step instructions needed to build it yourself.
“For years, I’ve wanted a LEGO kit of the @BoredApeYCclubhouse,” JCM tweeted. “A few weeks ago, I asked a very talented brick architect to help me build it. Instructions and parts list threaded below. Merry Christmas you filthy animals. Please note this is neither LEGO nor BAYC official.”
The exterior of the build is inspired by the club’s longtime clubhouse design that dates back to the very beginning and can still be seen on Otherside today. The interior, meanwhile, is modeled floor by floor after the layout from the BAYC’s Treasure Hunt event back in September 2021.
“The intricate, hand-drawn world that launched the club has always reminded me of storybooks from my childhood,” JCM told the Gazette. “LEGO offers a similarly fun and nostalgic platform for club members to further immerse themselves in Bored Ape lore and explore the clubhouse - a high quality format that happens to be purpose built for architectural representation and world building. LEGO and BAYC together felt like a natural fit.”
In total, JCM’s clubhouse build is massive, featuring 4,280 pieces and 606 pages of easy to follow directions designed for LEGO newbies and seasoned builders alike.
With this bored build, JCM hopes more Apes and NFT enthusiasts across Web3 will be inspired to follow their dreams, pick up a shovel (or a LEGO), and build culture.

“The BAYC is full of imaginative dreamers who have been vigorously encouraged to build and contribute to the space by Gordon and Garga,” he said. “I hope club members see a project like this and feel inspired to jump in and share the ideas they have too.”
