'BUILDING TOGETHER': Magic Eden Celebrated The Three Month Anniversary Of Its Ethereum Marketplace With An Edition NFT Drop!

The ‘Creators Alliance’ celebrated the three-month anniversary of Yuga Labs and Magic Eden’s Ethereum-based, royalty-enforced marketplace with a group photo NFT drop by Cool Cats Founder Clon, titled ‘Building Together.’

On Thursday, the Bored Ape Yacht Club’s mascot Curtis, Otherside’s Blue, and 10KTF’s Wagmi-San got together with Magic Eden’s mascot Emmy and all their web3 friends for a new 1,000-edition NFT collection!

“It’s been three months since the launch of our Ethereum Marketplace with @yugalabs, so I guess you can say things are getting pretty serious,” Magic Eden tweeted. “To celebrate, we'll be sending out some editions of "Building Together" made by @cloncast in collaboration with the Creator Alliance. 1k total supply. 500 to random users & 500 to the users who contributed the most royalties to creators. No utility, just art.”

While today’s commemorative ‘Building Together’ NFT drop was ‘no utility, just art,’ Magic Eden has been ‘getting pretty serious’ with its massive cross-chain Diamond reward program covering the Bitcoin, Solana, Polygon, and Ethereum ecosystems, which closed in April.

“The cross-chain rewards program built for everyone,” Magic Eden stated on its website. “From collectors to creators and traders, we're building the biggest, best and most rewarding platform ever that pushes forward our mission to make digital ownership universal.”

While there is still a lot we do not know about these Diamond reward points, many are speculating that they will have something to do with the Non-Fungible DAO’s eventual $NFT token drop.
