CELEBRATROY SELFIE: James Hall Purchases A Red Koda After Becoming Otherside's New Lead!

From creating Otherside to collecting it too!

Just hours after Yuga Labs Head Engineer James Hall was named the new lead of Otherside, he aped into a red Koda through Yuga Labs' Grails OTC before heading to the Nexus for a celebratory selfie.

“GM,” he simply tweeted from right outside the Koda Temple.

 

Hall's newest Otherside companion is Koda #3646, a 13 trait creature featuring an 8 Knit Core, Springbuck Head, and Peer Through Sky Eyes. The crimson armored Koda also wields an Ox Tongue Blade and ranks as the 1,145th rarest Koda, according to OpenSea.

 

As the Gazette previously reported, Yuga Labs CEO Michael Figge announced on Monday that Hall would officially be taking the helm of Otherside as the metaverse prepares go from just always on game into a world where Voyagers can finally explore their Otherdeeds and participate in a digital economy!

“A year ago we opened @othersidemeta for the first time persistently today, i'm putting @imjameshall in charge of it,” he tweeted. “Before i became ceo, i was working deeply on otherside. i aped a lotta otherdeeds before joining yuga. literally bought into the vision.  and the past year was a turnaround job, getting the platform right-side up. it was an accomplishment just to visit OS whenever you wanted with whatever avatar you wanted now otherside has some of the most bottled up potential in the space”

 

Looking ahead, Hall hopes to make Otherside a place where everyone, and every community, can win.

 

“My goal is simple: successfully kick off the Otherside resource game and get people on their Otherdeeds,” he wrote. “This is something we've been working on for a long time, mixing disciplines of 3D design, game development, and hard core smart contract systems. We're balancing ways to maximize the experience for Otherdeed and Koda holders while still being able to draw in a much bigger user base that might not own an Otherdeed or Koda yet.”
