CLAIM ON: Gucci KodaPendant Holders Can Now Claim Their Physical Otherside Relics . Here's How:

Voyagers are feeling Gucci, and will soon be looking Gucci, after the luxury fashion house and Yuga Labs preformed a KodaPendant snapshot this morning and opened the window for holders to claim the physical necklaces this afternoon!

It’s a Gucci day on the Otherside as Voyagers had their wallets snapshotted for KodaPendants and can now claim their highly anticipated physical Otherside Relics by Gucci.

“The physical KodaPendant claim is LIVE,” Yuga Labs tweeted from its OthersideMeta account earlier today. “Visit https://kodapendant.gucci.com to start the claim process and review the FAQ. The claim will close on July 6, 2023 at 12 PM ET. Voyagers will forfeit their right to claim their physical KodaPendant after this time.”

The physical Otherside Relics by Gucci are made entirely from 925 silver with a 50 CM (nearly 20 inches) length, and an identification number on the back of the Koda shaped pendant with a unique identification number on it, according to Gucci. Take a closer look at the chain below:

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Gucci sold 3,019 KodaPendants from its new Otherside Relics collection for 1,358,550 $Ape or $5,719,000 USD on April 7,2023.

With the purchase of a Gucci KodaPendent, Voyagers received an immediate metadata update to their Kodas or Vessels, an upcoming cosmetic upgrade to their avatars once the Otherside opens later this year, and the physical sterling silver Gucci Kodapendant necklace that they’re now able to claim.

“After crafting special relics from precious pieces of the Obelisk to commemorate the creation of the Otherside, Blue encounters a mysterious golden Voyager,” Gucci wrote on its website. “The Voyager makes a proposal: Blue will teach the Voyager to master Otherside magic, and in turn, the Voyager will teach Blue to craft other exquisite items. From this alliance, the first of the Otherside Relics by Gucci collection is born: the Gucci KodaPendant necklace.”

KodaPendants are the first of possibly many Otherside Relics by Gucci and they are part of the luxury fashion house’s multi-year partnership with Yuga Labs that was first announced on March 27th, 2023.

“We are excited to unveil this multifaceted partnership with Yuga Labs, a leader and creative pioneer in web3,” Robert Triefus, Gucci’s senior executive vice president, corporate and brand strategy, and chief executive of Gucci Vault & Metaverse Ventures, said in a press release at the time. “This will give us an active role in Otherside and 10KTF’s continuing narrative, unfolding in multiple forms.”
