Let not your $Ape be troubled!

After four months and 40 million $Ape in wagers, Ape Church’s highly anticipated NFT collection, Gimboz, is coming to ApeChain, bringing Otherside avatars and perks at the parish for faithful minters and secondary buyers alike.

“We want Gimboz to be our North star for the protocol in a lot of ways,” Ape Church Founder Koko said on Spaces today.

On Tuesday, the Gimboz mint will begin at 2 P.M. EST, starting with a GTD whitelist phase for those who bought Gimbo passes with GP points earned by simply playing onchain games of chance. During this phase, each NFT will cost $20 USD.

After that, there will be an allowlist phase for Bored Ape Yacht Club members and Azuki holders beginning at 4:30 P.M. EST, followed by a public phase at 5 P.M. EST, where each NFT will cost $30 USD.

Tonight everyone can check which phase of the mint they qualify for on Ape church here: https://www.ape.church/mint

Leading up to tomorrow’s mint, the Gimboz are getting a lot of attention both inside and outside the ApeChain ecosystem, as the project’s founder and longtime BAYC member Koko promises Otherside ready avatars by Rida and a range of utility at Ape Church and beyond that will be revealed to those who embrace the mystery of faith.

“We are excited,” Koko said on Spaces today. “I feel like we’ve been working on this for so long… We are just excited for what the Gimboz are going to be able to do for the protocol  and how we are going to be able to use NFT tech in new and creative ways post mint.”

While we don’t know everything Koko and the team have planned for these little frogs, we do know that some of the utility will include augments, consumables, collateral, wearables, Otherside avatars, and VIP perks.

As the Gazette previously reported, Ape Church, which launched in November 2025, sees itself as the “Uniswap of Chance” and has quickly become one of the most interesting DeFi products in all of Web3.

“The goal of Ape Church is to create the fairest, most decentralized games of chance hub on ApeChain, where projects, meme coins, and IP can build directly into our decentralized liquidity pool,” Koko told the Gazette back in November 2025. “At first glance, you might think it’s just another casino, but under the hood it’s a full blown, robust DeFi protocol with massive room to scale and iterate.”

The Gazette will continue to follow all things Gimboz and will let you know what’s next for these faithful frogs. Stay tuned for updates!
