COOKING ONCHAIN, BAKING IRL: Yuga Labs Announces Its First Ever Blind Box Featuring Blue The Koda Atop A Donut!

Onchain, the Otherside team is cooking, but IRL, they're baking!

The metaverse is about to go nuts for donuts after Yuga Labs announced its first ever blind box collection featuring Blue the Koda atop a sweet treat!

“Koda Cakes are coming to ApeFest,” Yuga Labs tweeted.  “Blind box, 3 rarities. The Freshest Cakes in Otherside. Capped at 2,500 supply with only half available at ApeFest and the rest available online later this year. What color will you pull?”

Tonight, we don't know how much these blind boxes will cost, what the other two rarities will look like, or whether there's a chaser in the oven. But we do know that this isn't the first time Yuga Labs has paired Kodas and donuts together in recent weeks!

As the Gazette previously reported, Otherside Lead James Hall hosted a Donut Social on September 29 to discuss all things Otherside Resources, treating community members to a sweet snack while they learned more about the metaverse's upcoming resource game.

The Gazette is working to find out more about these blind boxes and will be ripping one open for you live from ApeFest later this week. Stay tuned for updates!
