DAY 2 RECAP: Here's What Happened At The Second Night Of Ape Fest 2022

From the rain to Lil Baby, the drip was too hard at the second night of Ape Fest!

The Bored Ape Yacht Club held its second night of Ape Fest 2022 and thousands of BAYC members and their plus ones put on their ponchos and partied with their fellow apes.

To kick off the evening the band HAIM, an American pop rock band comprised of the Haim sisters Este, Danielle, and Alana, took the stage and rocked the BAYC community.

“No idea who HAIM was before Apefest,” Racs-0 tweeted. “@Boredapeyc put me on.”

Check out a clip from the trio’s performance here:

As the night went on, Este Haim, the group’s bass guitarist, discussed purchasing her first NFT and asked who in the audience would help get her into Web3.

Shortly after HAIM finished their set, BAYC member and Grammy winning producer Timbaland took the stage and shared a never-before-seen ape themed music video with the audience.

“Don’t it feel good to be a part of something that the world has not caught up to yet,” Timbaland asked the cheering crowd at Ape Fest. “By me being Timbo the king, I always like to be first and do something first.”

After Timbaland talked to the crowd, the artist played his new BAYC themed music video:

After BAYC member Timbaland released his new music video, fellow BAYC member and rapper Lil Baby took the stage and wowed the crowd!

This is the second year in a row that Lil Baby has performed at Ape Fest.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the rapper was the headliner at Ape Fest 2021 at Brooklyn Steel. During his performance last year, the notable rapper mutated his Bored Ape!

There are two more nights of Ape Fest 2022 left, and the Bored Ape Gazette is working to get into the event to bring you continued coverage. Stay tuned!
