DELAYED: Yuga Labs Postpones Otherside x Daniel Arsham Voyager Drop After Vercel Security Breach

Scammers are everywhere, hackers are getting more sophisticated, and Yuga Labs isn’t taking any chances when it comes to the Otherside.
On Tuesday, Yuga Labs announced that the metaverse’s highly anticipated Arsham Voyager bot drop has been delayed out of an abundance of caution following a security breach involving its cloud platform provider, Vercel.
“GM Voyagers. Due to the Vercel security breach, we're postponing the Arsham Voyager drop to give our team time to roll our keys and properly test the platform,” Yuga Labs tweeted from tis Otherside account. “We don't cut corners on security.”
“Vercel was subject to a security breach over the weekend and given guidance to swap any sensitive keys,” Yuga LabsHead Engineer James Hall explained. “Out of caution, we're going to push the Arsham event so that our team can roll our keys and test the platform.”
While disappointing, the delay was a must.
The Arsham x Otherside avatar drop is set to be the first-ever mint inside the metaverse and will feature a new interactive allowlist experience, where users visit the Nexus, grab tickets, and try their luck at securing an allowlist spot.
As the Gazette previously reported, the Arsham x Otherside Voyager robot is part of a broader Voyager initiative that Yuga Labs has planned, where it will collaborate with artists on different skins and aesthetics for bots in hopes of onboarding collectors from other niches into the ecosystem. The initiative was first teased at ApeFest 2025 in Las Vegas during Michael Figge’s keynote.
Because of that, it’s critical Yuga Labs gets this right.
The new allowlist dates for the Arsham x Otherside Voyager are April 30 through May 4, with the drop scheduled for May 6.
