Dookey Dash Unclogged Will Have An Arcade Mode That's Inviting To First Time Dashers! Here's What We Know So Far:

The Web3 world got more information on Yuga Labs and Faraway gaming Studio’s new Dookey Dash Unclogged ‘Arcade Mode’ which they believe will make the game more inviting for first-time players!

On Monday, Yuga Labs CEO Garga took to Twitter and announced that the release of Dookey Dash Unclogged would be delayed as he and the team work on a plethora of new features to make the game more user-friendly.

“It’s a LOT of new upgrades to Dookey Dash, all with the aim of making the game fun for everyone and not just twitchy nerds with fast reflexes,” Garga wrote.

One of these features is an ‘Arcade Mode’ that will run alongside the 'champion mode' that BAYC members and Sewer Pass holders played in February 2023.

“ARACADE MODE: A new objective-based game mode, with clear conditions for progressing (like "dash through five walls to win," etc),” Garga wrote on Monday. “Arcade mode is broken up into levels, and achieving goals gets you progress on the map and onto the next stage. Basically, think Candy Crush.”

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Faraway Gaming Studio Co-Founder and BAYC member Alex Paley first announced that Dookey Dash Unclogged would have an arcade mode during a May 3rd Twitter Space.

“This game is all about reaching the mass audience and getting new blood into the ecosystem, so the big thing is how do we make it so the game isn’t as punishing,” he said. “When you are a new player, you will lose immediate, and you’ll see a sign that says game fucking over. It’s not the easiest experience for you. So right now, tactically, we are working on an arcade mode, which is more objective based. So, there will be a competitive mode that’s going to be around high scores, getting these golden plungers, and getting access to the season ending tournament. But for these early funnel players, we are introducing arcade mode. This is more objective based, so it’s like hit ten cows, break through five walls, get a point score of 30,000. Something so people can feel a sense of victory and accomplishment because for these people who are early in the funnel, they need to feel like I’m doing something, I completed the task, and now I’m getting rewarded. Then eventually they will migrate into a more competitive game.”

 

At this time, we do not know when Yuga Labs and Faraway Gaming Studios plan to release Dookey Dash Unclogged worldwide, but we do know that Garga does not want to launch an incomplete game.

 

“I don’t want to push this sucker live until I feel like we’ve got the best game possible. Good news is, all the new features will be out of dev later this month, and we’ll be able to give an update on launch date then.”
