Dookey Dash Unclogged Will Have At Least A Million Dollar Prize Pool! Here's What You Need To Know:

Yuga Labs Chief Executive Officer, Garga, confirmed that the company will be giving the masses at least a million reasons to dive into the sewers below the Bored Ape Yacht Club this Spring, after he confirmed that Dookey Dash Unclogged will have a prize pool of at least a million-dollars!

As Garga took the stage at NFT Paris on Saturday, Yuga Labs shared a new teaser trailer for Dookey Dash Unclogged, revealing the game’s seven figure prize pool!

“Psst… a new Dookey Dash: Unclogged video just dropped at @nft_paris,” Yuga Labs tweeted from its gaming account. “Earn Golden Plungers and access The Ultimate Sewer Showdown with a minimum prize pool of $1,000,000. Pre-register now at http://dookeydashunclogged.com”

In the video, Yuga Labs explained that players will make their way deep into the sewer, dodging trash and avoiding cows in an attempt to earn ‘Golden Plungers’ to access the ultimate sewer showdown, which will have at least a million-dollar prize pool, including $Ape and ‘censored prizes.’

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Dookey Dashers will be able to earn golden plungers randomly and on their own merit, according to Gaming Council Member Adam Hollander.

“If you do extremely well inside of the game, then you will earn these in a guaranteed way,” Hollander said on BAYC Community Council Member Laura Rod’s January 16th space. “But there’s also going to be a subset of golden plungers that are given out in more of a randomized way to those that played and participated and earned inside of the game just based on continued engagement. That means that anyone who comes in and plays the game will have a shot at one of these valuable items. And if you win one and you’re not a particularly good gamer well it’s an NFT so you can go ahead and sell it to another gamer that maybe wants to participate in the higher stakes tournament.”

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Yuga Labs first announced that the company would be inviting Apes and non-Apes into the sewers below the BAYC for Dookey Dash Unclogged last month.

“Looks like Curtis needs to get the plunger out, there’s something in the toilet,” Yuga Labs tweeted from its gaming account on January 16th. “Dookey Dash Unclogged, coming Q1 2024. This time anyone can play.”

 

Dookey Dash Unclogged will be similar to the original game that the Yugaverse played last year, but with more customization, enhanced graphics, mobile gameplay, and it will welcome Apes and non-apes to participate!

“The goal of Dookey Dash Unclogged is to put BAYC and Yuga into a million people's pockets,” Garga tweeted last month. "(In the dumbest way possible lol).”

 

But before Dookey Dash Unclogged launches later this Spring, Yuga Labs will be hosting a 10,000 Dookey Dasher stress test competition to ensure that the pipes are safe!

“DDU is coming soon and there’s a $1m prize pool up for grabs,” Garga tweeted today “But first we need to stress test the game. 10k invites to a closed beta will be going out, randomly picked from those who register at http://dookeydashunclogged.com One winner will receive a mutant ape.”
