The ApeCoin DAO’s staking bug bounty program is live and skilled white hat hackers can earn over $1 million USD if they find a critical vulnerability in the code.

After the ApeCoin DAO narrowly approved of the creation of a bug bounty program on November 2nd, the DAO partnered with Immunefi and Llama to set up and run a bug bounty program.

Earlier this week, Immunefi took to Twitter and announced that the ApeCoin DAO’s bug bounty program was live and that white hat hackers can now submit their findings.

“New bounty live,” Immunefi tweeted on November 10th. “ApeCoin TESTNET has launched their bug bounty on Immunefi. @apecoin is an ERC-20 governance and utility token used to empower a decentralized community building at the forefront of web3. Find those bugs - get yourself $1,008,888:”

The ApeCoin DAO’s bug bounty program will have two phases. The first phase will be focused on a “Goerli testnet deployment of the staking contract,” according to Immunefi. This first phase will last two weeks. After this first phase, the second phase of the program will begin.

Phase two of the bug bounty program will run for the entirety of the ApeCoin DAO’s three year staking system.
