EASTER SUNDAY SALE: BAYC Member CrampyG Sells 1/1 Ape Church Gimboz To ApeCoin’s HodlrCollective For 20K $Ape!

An ApeChain miracle happened on Easter Sunday as Bored Ape Yacht Club member CrampyG sold a 1/1 Gimboz he bought pre-reveal to ApeChain’s HodlrCollective for 20,000 $Ape!

Last week, Ape Church turned skeptics across Web3 into believers in NFTs when the popular casino and DeFi dApp on ApeChain quickly minted out its Gimboz collection at what may have been the very bottom of the NFT market.

 

A day after the sellout, the faithful frogs revealed, and flippers quickly began listing low in hopes of a 2x. In the midst of that, CrampyG got the deal of a lifetime.

He randomly bid on four Gimboz pre-reveal, and one of them turned out to be one of the collection’s 12 1/1s., named Wild!

CrampyG snagged the creature for just 839 $Ape, or about $71 USD.

Fast forward to Easter, and CrampyG was fielding several five-figure $Ape offers from frens around the swamp, including ApeChain’s wildcard, HodlrCollective, who ultimately bought the Gimboz for 20,000 $Ape, or roughly $1,600 USD.

It feels awesome,” CrampyG told the paper after the sale. “I grabbed four unrevealed Gimboz on the floor and one turned out to be a 1/1. “Planning on putting it straight back into more Yuga assets or I might grab another HV-MTL.”

 

As CrampyG gets ready to go shopping, HodlrCollective told the paper he’s got big plans for his new Wild Gimboz, teasing, “I have an idea that I want to propose to KoKo to use the IP for something fun.”
