Eminem capped off an amazing year at the Bored Ape Yacht Club purchasing a bored ape that many think looks just like him.

The real Slim Shady stood up and aped into the BAYC early this morning. The famous rapper then changed his Twitter profile photo to his ape.

Eminem’s bored ape is Bored Ape #9055. Bored Ape #9055 is a six-trait white fur ape rocking an army hat and hip-hop clothes. Eminem purchased Bored Ape #9055 from BAYC member GeeGazza for 123.45 Eth or $456,000 USD.

For months, GeeGazza has thought that Bored Ape #9055 would be the perfect ape for the popular rapper.

GeeGazza shared tweets he made on July 24th showing him tweet Bored Ape #9055 at Eminem.

After the sale, GeeGazza took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the sale.

“Sounds stupid. Sounds ridiculous. Sounds nerdy or lame or any multitude of words. But to sell the ape that gets @Eminem into the @BoredApeYC, the ape that he is using to millions of followers on his socials… man, fuck. Crazy. Been manifesting it for months. It’s surreal.”

Eminem was onboarded into the BAYC by Twitter user and new BAYC member thatguygeo and his team at sixweb3, according to the company’s social media and blockchain data.

“Guess the cats out of the bag,” thatguygeo tweeted. “@BoredApeYC, please welcome @Eminem to the metaverse! me, @JesseGrushack, and the rest of the @sixweb3team were honored to help him secure the EminApe. “

Eminem is the latest rapper to ape into the BAYC. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Post Malone Lil Baby, Timbaland, among others have all joined the club earlier this year.
