Gobs on Ape are placing their hands and wondering what’s to come after the project’s founder, James Hall, expanded upon the lore of the 2,222 mystical creatures for the first time earlier this week!
The story of the Gobs began to unfold on Friday after founder Hall took to the timeline with a thirteen-part thread that introduced ApeChain to the “Three of Grimhold”, Murgaz, Vera, and Karn, who “guide, not govern,” the Goblins through the mines. In addition, an unknown threat has been foretold that leaves the Gobs struck with fear, running for their lives as “the bells keep tolling!”
Since Friday’s tweets, the full story has been added to the front of the mine on the project’s Gobs.Land website, where Gobs are asked at the end if they want to open the mine or remove their hand!
This tale comes just days after longtime Gobs like Dutchee noticed a new message at the Mines on the Gobs.Land website. The message spoke of a screaming Gob and visions of green blood on teeth and fire between a beast’s horns.
“SECRET ALPHA,” Dutchee tweeted last week. “I've been to the Gobs website a million times and never noticed this new message. Was it always there, is it randomized to different users, or is it new? Put your tinfoil hats on! WTF does this mean?”
