Famed music executive Tommy Mottola aped into the Bored Ape Yacht Club on Saturday, January 15th.

Mutant Ape #252, is a seven trait M1 Zombie fur ape with Bunny Ears, Cowboy Shirt and multi-color grin jem grill. Mottola purchased the mutant ape for 11Eth or $34,540 USD, according to Opensea data.

Mutant Ape #252 wasn’t the only insane mutant that Mottola purchased. Shortly after picking up Mutant Ape #252, the music executive purchased Mutant Ape #421, according to Opensea data.

Mutant Ape #421 is a six trait M1 zombie fur mutant with a bone necklace and seaman’s hat. Mottola purchased Mutant ape #421 for 11 Eth or $34,540, according to Opensea data.

Mottola is currently the Chairman of Mottola Media Group and was previously the Chairman & CEO of Sony Music Entertainment, parent of the Columbia label, for nearly 15 years, according to his Wikipedia page.
