It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere you go; and now you can Feel it on the Otherside!
On Thursday, Yuga Labs announced a new metaverse emote feature dubbed “Feels,” which lets holders communicate how they’re feeling through memes.
Starting in January, communities will be able to create and sell their own Feels on Amazon. But while community created Feels won’t arrive in time for Christmas, the Bored Ape Yacht Club still wanted to spread some holiday cheer around the Swamp right now.
“With community Feels landing in January, we couldn’t help ourselves,” the club tweeted. “Every BAYC and MAYC just got a holiday Feel on us. Curtis is also loose in Otherside wearing a Santa hat… Go look for Santa Curtis if you want to pick up more Feels for 5 APE each. When you find him, hit Interact to open his shop and browse his holiday Feels. These open edition Feels are available for a limited time.”
Apes and Mutants can find their free Feel gift, dubbed "Flexmas" from Curtis in the same wallets holding their Apes.
Tonight, Voyagers can find the club’s mascot Curtis playing Kris Kringle at the BAYC bar in the Swamp, where he’s selling four different holiday themed Feels for just 5 $Ape each.
To grab them, simply walk up to Curtis, interact with his avatar by pressing “F,” and browse his shop.
From there, you’ll be able to purchase the limited time Christmas Feels.
But don’t wait too long. Curtis will be roaming the Swamp and the Nexus throughout the holiday season, and these Feels won’t be around forever, so grab your Feels while you can.
