Mutant Monday was insane in the expanded Yugaverse as Bored Ape Yacht Club member and HV-MTL owner Adam Weitsman hinted at bringing back the defunct Mega Mutant Ape project, Applied Primate.

"Thinking about possibly putting the band back together ……..,” Weitsman tweeted along with a Winky face. “ @AppliedPrimate @ptmNFT @MistakenPres.”

 

Weitsman wasn’t just active on the timeline, he was making moves onchain as well. Earlier today, the notable collector added two rare Applied Primate MegaForce Sentinels to his collection.

Tonight, nothing is confirmed, and there’s no guarantee Weitsman will team up with PTM, the scientists, or the Sentinels over at Applied Primate. That said, he holds all the assets needed to reboot the project’s

overarching storyline, which followed several Mega Mutant Apes.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Weitsman purchased the Mega Deathbot, Mega Radioactive, Mega Noise, and Mega Gold Mutant Apes from PTM back in March. He currently holds five of the MAYC’s 13 Mega Mutants, according to OpenSea data.
