On the eve of the HV-MTL Forge, Yuga Labs released a massive gaming guide that gave HV-MTL holders their mission and what they can expect as they forge ahead into the company’s highly anticipated game!
Things were anything but boring around the swamp this morning after the Bored Ape Yacht Club shared its HV-MTL Forge gaming guide.
Upon opening the gaming guide, players clearly see that their mission during the HV-MTL forge is to help their Mechs unlock their next evolutions.
“HV-MTL Forge is a game that starts as a mix between a pet game and a casual world builder, and ends as a competitive dungeon crawler,” Yuga Labs explained. “Your HV is relying on you to evolve into an Evo2 and earn up to 6 powerful upgrades for its Evo2 form. You’ll do this by building a workshop — your forge, which will generate the energy needed to explore The Rift — and keeping your HV happy.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Gary the Dog Prophet first teased the HV-MTLs evolutions after the pup licked a toad in the swamp on January 19th,2023.
Further in the guide, Yuga Labs went on to explain that there will be a total of six Forge seasons that will last three weeks each.
“You’ll be at the mercy of fellow degens voting daily on how your forge stacks up,” Yuga Labs wrote. “After 3 weeks, the season’s votes are tallied, and your fate will be sealed.”
By building their HV-Homes and showing off their Forges on Social media, players will win upgrades dubbed HV-MTL AMPs. Players will need to earn at least three AMPs to unlock the next evolution of their HVs, according to the guide.
Along with this information on earning AMPs and evolving players Mechs, Yuga Labs also teased a strange portal opening after season three during “The Rift Expansion.”
