Former Ethereum Foundation Board of Director, Taylor Gerring purchased Bored Ape # 4482 for 58 ETH or roughly 139,000 USD This morning.

“Hard to resist such a lovely ape,” Gerring tweeted after the purchase.

Bored Ape #4482 is a six trait trippy fur bored ape with a multicolored grin wearing a prison jumpsuit. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #4482 is 660th most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.

Bored Ape #4482 is not Gerring’s first ape, he also owns Bored Ape #6251.

After the sale many in the BAYC community were quick to congratulate Gerring on his new ape and the apes aesthetics.

“Wow, so much to look at here,” BAYC member @DocMcFlannigan tweeted.

Gerring purchased Bored Ape #4482 from its original Hyperion, according to Opensea. Hyperion holds one other ape based on his wallet.
