From sails to sales, the Bored Ape Yacht Club's first Anchor apparel collection with artist King Saladeen sold out fast as members quickly aped in to grab a fit for the sea!

In just 27 minutes, Yuga Labs' highly anticipated apparel drop sold out, with every T-shirt and bucket hat getting picked up by primates just in time for summer.
“Well that was fast,” BAYC member Gene tweeted. “Congrats on another SOLD OUT drop! And congrats @Kingsaladeenart.”
As the Gazette previously reported, King Saladeen's collection was designed to put the Yacht Club in the Bored Ape Yacht Club through a members only, nautical inspired apparel drop. And its clear that Apes loved it.

“The super fans in this club are incredible,” BAYC Member Steven Warner tweeted. “Every drop sells out, and you rarely hear anyone crying "extraction." Want to know why? Because people genuinely love the brand. This is what NFTs were always supposed to be. Return to monke.”
Tuesday's quick sellout puts the wind at the BAYC’s back for its new Anchor series as the club prepares to collaborate with more artists on additional limited edition collections.
Looking ahead, Apes can expect not only more Anchor drops fwith more artists, but also a Phase Two of the King Saladeen collection, with the collab’s Rugby Polo scheduled to drop later this year!
